Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 Update Accidentally Released on PS5

The highly anticipated Patch 8 update for Baldur's Gate 3 was accidentally made available to PS5 players a bit early!

Larian Studios' official account confirmed through a social media post that PS5 players indeed have access to Patch 8, even though the patch isn't ready yet. The post stated: "No, the Patch 8 stress test hasn't started yet. Yes, PS5 players currently have access to Patch 8. While we work with our partners to understand what's going on, please note that new saves made on Patch 8 won't be compatible with Patch 7. How's your Monday going?"

Patch 8 was initially announced in December and is set to be the last major update for Baldur's Gate 3. It promises cross-progression and cross-play, a photo mode, and 12 new subclasses, along with new abilities, animations, VFX, summons, cantrips, and even new voice recordings. This massive update aims to truly shake things up a year and a half after the game's launch and is expected to release this month, although yesterday's PS5 release seems to have been rushed.

Larian opened registrations for Patch 8's stress test late last month via Steam for PC and through Xbox and PlayStation for console players. However, this stress test hasn't occurred yet, and as Larian wrote, this release on PS5 is not the stress test.

PS5 players are advised not to download the new patch to avoid unwanted bugs or other issues. Additionally, as Larian stated, if you need to revert the patch for any reason, saves will not be compatible with Patch 7.

iPhone SE 2025: Apple’s Budget Phone Enters a New Era

Apple is set to shake up its affordable iPhone lineup with a brand-new iPhone SE, expected to be announced as early as next week. If the rumors are true, this will be the most significant update the SE series has ever seen—bringing Face ID, a larger display, and a sleek, modern design while finally saying goodbye to the iconic home button. Here’s everything we know so far. A Radical Redesign: No More Home Button Since its debut in 2016, the iPhone SE has held onto a familiar design, retaining the classic home button and thick bezels. However, that’s about to change. Apple is reportedly ditching the home button for good, replacing it with Face ID and a notched display similar to the iPhone 14. While some hoped for the newer Dynamic Island design, Apple appears to be keeping the SE slightly behind the curve, as it has in previous generations. A leaked video from Majin Bu shows what appears to be a non-functional dummy unit of the upcoming SE, likely used by case manufacturers. The foo...

These images, shared by trusted tipster Majin Bu, appear to be authentic and support numerous rumors regarding Apple’s next budget-friendly iPhone. Not only do they confirm previously suspected details, but they also introduce a few surprises that could make this release even more interesting. (Image credit: Majin Bu) Design and Display – A Familiar Yet Modern Look The latest leaks seem to confirm that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate . While the image does not provide concrete details about its panel quality or brightness levels, it is a step up from previous LCD-based SE models. One of the most notable confirmations from the leak is the presence of a notch at the top of the display , rather than the Dynamic Island found in the iPhone 1...

iPhone SE 4 (2025) vs iPhone 15: Key Differences Explained

The long-anticipated iPhone SE 4th Generation (2025) is finally set to launch, and with a rumored price of around $500, it will be the most affordable iPhone available. Expected to be released in late February, the SE 4 offers an exciting new option for budget-conscious users. What’s surprising, though, is that despite being cheaper than the iPhone 15, the iPhone SE 4 will come with a major advantage—it will support Apple Intelligence, something the iPhone 15 lacks. So, what are the other key differences? And could the budget-friendly iPhone SE 4 actually be a better buy than the iPhone 15? Design and Size Similar Look, Slight Differences Both the iPhone SE 4 and iPhone 15 share a nearly identical design with a 6.1-inch display. However, there are a few notable differences: Cameras: The SE 4 features a single rear camera, while the iPhone 15 has a dual-camera system. Edges: The iPhone SE 4 is expected to have sharper edges, resembling the iPhone 14, whereas the iPhone 15...
