Bitcoin Aims for $97K as Bulls Take Charge — While Gold Loses Its Shine

As May begins, Bitcoin (BTC) is making headlines again—this time by approaching the $97,000 mark, its highest level since February 22. In just one day, the world’s largest cryptocurrency rose nearly 3%, sending a clear message: the bulls are back in control. Meanwhile, traditional safe-haven asset gold is down nearly 8% from its recent highs, creating an interesting contrast between the old and new stores of value. With global markets in a state of flux, investors are closely watching Bitcoin’s next move—and what it might mean for the broader financial landscape. Bitcoin’s Climb: A Perfect Storm of Momentum Bitcoin’s sharp move higher came during the opening hours of the U.S. trading session. Stocks were also rallying, with tech giant Microsoft jumping 10% and temporarily becoming the most valuable public company on the planet. This kind of synchronized bullish momentum in both equities and crypto suggests that investors are regaining confidence in risk-on assets. Popular trader a...

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Microsoft Finally Thinking Out of the Xbox

2024 has been nothing but surprises in the gaming world. The Game Awards saw a game with the perfect adaptation of the souls-like genre competing with a game of poker on steroids. The winner? A game that was originally made to be a demo for the PlayStation 5. However, something that nobody expected was seeing a good Xbox exclusive game, that too based on a movie franchise. Many players would shrug when asked whether Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was worthy of getting a nomination at the Game Awards, but it is hard to find someone who has played the game and not found it amusing.

The game is certainly not a final answer to Sony’s Spiderman, and Indy’s whip cannot reach as far as Spidey’s web ropes can. But that does not matter because the whip has gotten a good grip. It is really difficult to find great games that are inspired by movies. So it is right to say that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is exactly the treasure Microsoft needed to find.

When it comes to making a good video game adaption, the formula is quite simple. Just make the players feel like they are the very character they adore. However, like many other things, this one also goes under the “easier said than done” list. Fortunately, the talented developers at MachineGames were able to navigate the puzzle and find the special sauce.

Exploring the World of Indiana Jones

The combat is bizarre. And that’s what makes it good. Everything was already set. The movie franchise has fans of all ages, fans who would also love to put on the hat and explore dangerous parts of the world looking for the treasure. Marketing was taken care of. All the developers had to do was stay true to the source materials.

MachineGames was known for making the new Wolfenstein series. It was easy to make “B.J.” Blazkowicz look cool with big guns and a mech suit. However, the developers knew that this tactic would not work with Indiana Jones. Jones was never a fighter and the game shows it very well. The combat looks bizarre, the NPCs are goofy, and sometimes the dialogues get campy. But all of these qualities are the reason why fans loved the Indiana Jones movie series.

A Unique Gaming Experience

Die-hard PlayStation fans would say that this game is no Uncharted, and they would be right. Indiana Jones is not trying to be grave. It also does not give the most accurate platforming experience, something Nathan Drake is an expert in. So where does this game shine? The overall experience.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does not excel in one particular aspect. The flaws and shortcomings combine beautifully with the story, the characters, and the gameplay mechanics. This gives the game something that many AAA titles lack: a heart. An hour into the game, it is not difficult to see that the developers wanted to make this game. It was not a deadline or just a project. Indiana Jones is one of the most beloved characters in pop culture, and it deserves a game that lives up to the legacy.

A Promising Future for Xbox

There are two things that make the game even better; it is available on day one with Xbox Game Pass, and it is coming to the PlayStation 5. Decisions like these can really pull Microsoft’s gaming box out of the depths of obscurity. They cannot make another Halo or Gears of War. What they can do is make great games, and make them accessible to everyone. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a refreshing example showing Xbox is finally thinking out of the xbox.

As the gaming industry continues to evolve, it is clear that Microsoft is stepping up its game. The success of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a testament to the potential for innovation and creativity in the world of video games. With the right approach, Microsoft has the chance to capture the hearts of gamers and establish a new era of gaming excellence.

iPhone SE 2025: Apple’s Budget Phone Enters a New Era

Apple is set to shake up its affordable iPhone lineup with a brand-new iPhone SE, expected to be announced as early as next week. If the rumors are true, this will be the most significant update the SE series has ever seen—bringing Face ID, a larger display, and a sleek, modern design while finally saying goodbye to the iconic home button. Here’s everything we know so far. A Radical Redesign: No More Home Button Since its debut in 2016, the iPhone SE has held onto a familiar design, retaining the classic home button and thick bezels. However, that’s about to change. Apple is reportedly ditching the home button for good, replacing it with Face ID and a notched display similar to the iPhone 14. While some hoped for the newer Dynamic Island design, Apple appears to be keeping the SE slightly behind the curve, as it has in previous generations. A leaked video from Majin Bu shows what appears to be a non-functional dummy unit of the upcoming SE, likely used by case manufacturers. The foo...

Phil Spencer Shifts Xbox Strategy: "We're Not Trying to Move All Players to Xbox Anymore"

Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, has made a notable shift in the company's approach to gaming platforms. In a recent conversation with the XboxEra podcast, Spencer revealed that he is no longer focused on converting PlayStation 5 or PC players to Xbox. Instead, his goal is to expand access, allowing more people to enjoy Xbox games on various systems. Spencer acknowledged that, while Xbox only retains 70% of the revenue from sales on competitor platforms like PlayStation and Nintendo, this approach is beneficial for the company in the long run. He explained that this 70% enables Xbox to build a strong portfolio of games and grow its presence across multiple platforms. He emphasized that players have different reasons for sticking with their chosen systems, whether it's their existing game libraries, preferences for controllers, or the specific titles available. Spencer made it clear that Xbox doesn't intend to push these players to switch systems, instead focusing on providin...
